Getting started
To purchase online, you first need set up your account. You may already have a profile in the system - all customers who have purchased a permit since 2016, have a lifetime permit or have preference / bonus points already have a profile. Use "Look up your Account" to find your profile and complete account setup which requires a valid email address.
If you are a brand new NGPC customer with no preference, then choose Create an Account.
Don't want to create an online account? You can purchase your permits at a permit location.
Some of my personal information has changed, should I create a new profile?
No. if your address, residency, or vital statistics have changed do not create a new profile. Log in to your existing profile and make the appropriate changes. Changes can be made after logging in by selecting "Customer Profile" from the left navigation and then clicking "Edit" for the appropriate section of the profile.
My name has changed. How do I change my name on my profile?
Please bring, mail, or email to one of our district offices a copy of a marriage certificate, divorce decree or other legal document showing your full name before and after it has been changed.

When sending please include a note stating that you want your name changed from to . Include your NGPC ID.
What if I don't have an SSN or a US address?
If you do not have an SSN or US address, please select "No" to the question of "Are you a US Citizen?" when creating your profile.
I'm locked out of the ELS system and can't login.
Wait at least five minutes and try again. Users have three tries to enter a correct username and password before they are locked out for five minutes. If needed, use the "Forgot Password" or "Forgot Username" and follow the process to reset your password or retrieve username. If you do reset your password, you still need to wait five minutes to enter information and log back in.
If you never receive your password reset email, check your spam folder. If you used a work email, it may be because your employer's firewall is blocking the email. There also may be an issue with the spelling of the email you entered into the system. Contact customer support at (888) 531-1198 if you are unable to reset your password.
Do I need to log in to purchase a Park Entry Permit or Nebraskaland Subscription?
An account is not required to purchase a Park Entry Permit or Nebraskaland magazine subscription. These can be purchased through "Guest Checkout" by choosing the "Guest Checkout" link from the login page.
Can I buy a permit for another person?
Yes. When you are logged in you can add to your Friends and Family list. From the product catalog you can select who the purchase is for.
Do I need to Print a Permit?
Fishing, Fur Harvest and Small Game Annual Hunting permits can be printed or displayed on a smart phone.
All Big Game (deer, elk, antelope) permits must be printed and carried on your person while hunting. Turkey permits can be printed or displayed on a smart phone. There is a permit replacement fee of $8.00 to print your permit after 24 hours.
How Do I Reprint a Permit?
You can perform reprints on non-Big Game permits by logging in to NGPC Permitting system, going to "View and Print Active Privileges" and clicking the 'Print Documents' link.
You may obtain a replacement permit at any NGPC District office or authorized permit agent. You will be required to pay a fee for each replacement issued.
What kind of browser do I need in order to purchase a license?
The system supports any modern browser and must be Javascript enabled. The latest versions of the software is preferred.
Customers using Internet Explorer are likely to experience problems as Internet Explorer is no longer supported by Microsoft (Edge is now Microsoft's default browser).
Is the online license sales website secure for credit card transactions?
Yes, the online permit sales website is secured for online sales using Transport Layer Security (TLS) to encrypt traffic. No payment information is saved or stored after confirmation of payment form the banking network.
To keep security up-to-date, the site is frequently scanned for new vulnerabilities using a 3rd party security scan.
What type of payment is accepted for online license sales?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Please contact customer support at (888) 531-1198 if you are experiencing problems with your purchase.
Why did my credit card get declined even if I entered everything correct and I have sufficient funds in my account?
Even if the credit card number is correct and a customer has enough money in the account, the credit card processor may sometimes decline a transaction request.
Is there an additional fee for purchasing permits online?
Purchasing permits online requires no additional fee. Your total fee will be the same as if you purchased your permit through a location permitting agent.
Normal fees also apply to internet purchases.
